HBO’s blockbuster ‘The Pacific’ was a major promotion for Sky Movies in 2009. The website was part of a big through the line campaign by Sky Creative. The site design was based on the ‘charcoal’ and ‘parchment’ theme used by HBO in their early teaser videos. The site had to be built in a modular form to allow for assets as they arrived up to and after the launch.
Content for the site was updated via xml to enable the team to turn around content additions and amends on a timely basis. The carousel design allowed us to add new sections without having to redesign the interface to accommodate them.
